Background Overview
Many organizations and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) often do not prioritize data protection and continued operations. After years of technology accumulation and evolution, TakenDR backup cloud was launched to extend backup/redundancy from the local end to the cloud. TakenDR Backup Cloud combines with Veeam® Cloud & Service Provider (VCSP) plan to provide reliable cloud backup service (BaaS) and disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS). Function Introduction

  • Backup and recovery: Supports data backup functions on various platforms (virtual, physical, cloud) to ensure that data is indeed backed up and recoverable. Important data can be copied to eDC Cloud or Azure, and local data backup can also be performed.
  • Using Veeam's VCSP solution's replication mechanism and cloud technology architecture, it provides enterprise-level disaster recovery and off-site backup service solutions to instantly protect your important data and information systems, and regularly replicate and store them in the eDC cloud storage space. When switching to backup, you can power on the normally offline virtual machine and mount the copied storage disk to provide system services.

   Daily backup and copying

  • The client host installs Agent one by one and backs up to the remote storage space through Agent.
  • The client builds a Backup Server, which dumps the backup data to the remote storage space.
  • Set up and manage the backup control center to coordinate tasks, control work scheduling and resource allocation.

   Redundancy startup and switchover

  • Cooperate with customers to start the backup virtual machine for restoration drills based on RTO and RPO requirements.
  • In full virtual machine restore mode, mount the copied files in FailOver mode.
  • Start the virtual machine and provide customers with drill verification.
